Having an agent that is the full-package is worth more than you think. It’s a very costly mistake to hire someone generic.

It doesn’t feel great to say that, honestly.

The sale of your home is a big freaking deal though. You need an agent that has a real multi point marketing plan. They need a launch strategy and it should consist of more than “buyer across the world” and website syndication.

A good marketer will have the systems in place to get maximum exposure on your home.

This is beyond professional photography! Social media marketing is one of the most effective ways to get in front of buyers. Video is taking the world by storm, and isn’t going anywhere. Your real estate agent should have a brand and utilize all of the different tools available to them (for free).

It doesn’t stop there!

Your agent is only as good as how they treat people. Especially other industry partners.

Reputation matters. The number one agent in the market isn’t always “at the top” for the right reasons. You need to hire someone that has cultivated strong relationships in the industry and treats everyone well. This goes a long way today in a lot of different areas.

Both of these qualities are exponentially more powerful when an agent has sales & problem solving skills.

Every transaction is different than another. You need someone quick on their feet, and puts out fires before they begin. It may not always be the smoothest experience, but the right agent will make it feel like a breeze as they guide you through it.

What does your marketing plan look like outside of professional photos and MLS?

How do you collaborate with other agents in this market?

How often will you communicate with me?
