Discovering Lewisville's Gems: 3 Neighborhoods You Can't Miss!
For someone who loves older homes with extra character, Lewisville has several established neighborhoods, and they are aging like fine wine! If you’re on the hunt for a home older than 50 years, I’ve got a few highlights for you.
Old Town Lewisville: If you hear “Old Town (insert City here)” then it’s probably one of the first established neighborhoods in the city. Old Town Lewisville is exactly that. It is also the oldest part of the city and features a charming mix of historic homes and modern amenities. The neighborhood has a strong sense of community and is perfect for those who love to take walks, enjoy local shops and restaurants, and attend community events. Majority of Lewisville’s biggest events are in Old Town!
Lewisville Heights: This neighborhood was established in the 1940s and is known for its mature trees and large lots. It offers a variety of housing styles, including Craftsman, Tudor, and Ranch-style homes. The neighborhood is located near downtown Lewisville, making it an ideal location for those who want to enjoy the city's nightlife and events. Super walkable!
North Lewisville: North Lewisville is another established neighborhood with mature trees and a variety of housing options. I think large trees may make the house cuter. The area is home to several parks, including Memorial Park, which offers walking trails, a playground, and picnic areas. The neighborhood is also conveniently located near major highways, making it easy to access other parts of the city.
These neighborhoods offer that cozy-like charm and character that's hard to find in newer developments (because planting a 50 year old tree isn’t easy or cheap).
