Green Beer + Good Cheer: 5 Favorites To Enjoy St. Patrick’s Day in Denton County

St. Patrick’s Day 2025 is rolling in hot on March 17, and I’m not letting you waste it on lame beer that’s not even green. I’ve been pounding the pavement from Lewisville to Flower Mound, Highland Village to Corinth, and up to Denton’s quirky square, hunting down the spots that’ll make your St. Paddy’s pop. Because you know—I’m your DFW realtor who’s obsessed with finding the good stuff.

I’ve rounded up five places across Denton County serving up everyone’s favorite St. Patrick’s trend; green beer and specials that’ll have you feeling luckier than a buyer snagging a deal in this market. Alright this is getting too cheesy, so let’s dive in.

The Tavern on Lakeside (Flower Mound)

Weekend parties are the theme here. Enjoy their St. Patrick's Day event with special treats like ice cold green beers, green jello shots, with nonstop celebration!

Shoal Creek Tavern (Flower Mound)

This is a local favorite of mine for many reasons. Try them out during their “festive night of Irish cheer”. Indulge in St. Patrick’s Day Specials while enjoying a cozy atmosphere. Special Irish Menu: Guinness-Braised Short Rib – $28 🍲 Shepherd's Pie- $24, Corned Beef & Cabbage – $25, & Whiskey Glazed Salmon - $28. Don’t forget to wear your green!

Velvet Taco (The Colony)

This is one of my favorite taco chains! This year, they have two Irish specials: A green margarita with Lunazul blanco tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and agave nectar.; and a green twist on their red velvet cake, tinted green and topped with Lucky Charms. Say less. The margarita is available in small for $5 and large for $8, and the cake is $4.25. Both available from March 17-21.

East Side (Denton)

FOUR DAYS of Irish fun at Eastside! We’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all weekend long with green beer, drink specials, and festive entertainment. Known for its annual St. Paddy’s block party, East Side’s a Denton staple with craft beer and a lively patio vibe. Past years had $10 green shirts—look for a 2025 twist.

These spots aren’t just where the party’s at; they’re proof Denton County’s got that magic mix of chill and buzz that keeps folks moving here. Want more insider gold? Snag my free Locals Guide. It’s your cheat sheet to the area’s hidden gems, from bars to backyards.
